| This is the story of The Rhodesian Printing and Publishing Company and its newspapers. It is a story which is bound up with the development, political, economic and social, of the two Rhodesia's, which its newspapers have served since the beginnings of European colonization.
It is a truly Rhodesian enterprise which through the years has endeavored, honestly and faithfully, to serve the best interests of the two countries.
In 70 years it has grown from a mud-and-grass hut producing a small cyclostyled sheet in the pioneer settlement of Fort Salisbury to a mammoth organization publishing four daily newspapers, two Sunday papers and two thrice-weekly papers in Southern and Northern Rhodesia. |
