The story of a farmers wife, "Betty" (not her real name), in the Eastern Highlands of Rhodesia. In 1967 she headed for Rhodesia where she first lived on a small farm miles from anywhere. He only companions were her African Labor force. Remarried, she and her husband then lived in the Eastern Highlands for many years during the the period of the terrorist war. It is their experiences during those times that have provided the background material for this book. Paperback in fairly good condition.
