The British South Africa Police of Rhodesia was one of the world's great Police Forces.

Originally formed as the protection force for the Pioneer Column it has the rare distinction of having been formed before the country it policed was founded!

Throughout it's illustrious and checkered history it saw it's fair share of characters, illustrious people, brave souls and achieved for itself a place unparalleled in Police history.

The only Police Force that saw it's serving members win the Victoria Cross of Gallantry, two of them were actually awarded to members of the BSAP.
