COMMUNITY SERVICES

The world-wide Rhodesian Community is unique. Connected through their common experience of a beloved country and experiences, they still show that wonderful spirit of camaraderie and support. They are some of the friendliest, warm-hearted people the world has known. The bonds forged in the communities, large and small, throughout Rhodesia, still hold strong today in this new worldwide community.

We at Memories of Rhodesia want to help encourage and foster this continuing sense of community - long lost friends and acquaintances being found, new ones being made, Rhodesians dealing with Rhodesians. Engendering the Rhodesian spirit among black and white alike.

We have carefully considered how we may best do this in this modern communications era. Rather than just do what others have done before, we wanted to do something different.

We are pleased to be working with:

• The Rhodesian Broadcasting Corporation - broadcasting the sound of Rhodesia via the Internet
• The Rhodie Web-Ring - a one-stop reference for Rhodesians around the world.
• Flame Lily Books - helping Rhodesian authors.
• Rhodiechat - a forum for contact and dialogue between Rhodesians.
• Lekkerwear - all your Rhodesian apparel needs.

Several of these sites have overlapping areas and we are working one ways to make them a more integrated and seamless operation. Please be patient with us. We would also covet any suggestions, recommendations or ideas you might have.

We offer a hand of friendship to one and all and hope that this alliance can be expanded to include many other such organizations.
